On Saturday, 9th September
2017 we once again took
part in the annual harvest festival
in Alt-Marzahn village, Berlin. Many people
were there and visited our booth. Beside spinning
our wheel of fortune, they also had the
opportunity to acquire traditional craftwork
from India for a donation, and to try out
some Indian food prepared by us. ← An elephant henna tattoo comes into being. |

Our annual meeting this year took place on Wednesday, 31st May 2017. Coincidentally, several groups of different partners in India were in Berlin at the same time. We were able to bring nine of them together with members of the Indian Forum in a joint dinner, and in our meeting afterwards. Thank you to our guests for sparing the time and joining our meeting, and thanks also to the board members who organized the event! |

With many helping hands
from the young people in Chaibasa, an old
run-down building on the Lutheran schools
campus has been turned into a youth club.
The Indian Forum supported the project by
contributing money for a new roof, which has
been finished just in time before the
monsoon set in. ← The photo shows Mukut Bodra and other young people in Chaibasa during the construction works for renovating the old building. |
